Designed as the ultimate haven for group getaways – be it friends, families, or corporate retreats – the farmhouse features 7 bedrooms accommodating up to 14 guests, with adjacent cottages available for larger group gatherings. No matter the size of your group, we have all your retreat needs covered.
One of the highlights of the farmhouse is the spacious kitchen, which seamlessly flows into what we affectionally call the ‘boot room’, complete with its own fridge and freezer – perfect for storing additional dishes or keeping the wine chilled! This feature ensures that every culinary need is met, making group dining a pleasure. Our hand-crafted dining table, carved from wood sourced right here on the Mornacott estate, is the true centrepiece. This, along with our custom outdoor table, can each accommodate up to 24 guests, creating the perfect setting for memorable meals – a true party house.
Moving indoors, you’ll find the living room and cosy snugs, some of our favourite spots, offering stunning views of the garden and the rolling hills beyond. These spaces, adorned with fireplaces, charming bookshelves, and plenty of seating, invite you to luxuriate in comfort and warmth. The kids’ snug, filled with games, is a paradise for little ones (or the young at heart), ensuring that everyone has a place to relax and have fun!
Our fantastic facilities extend beyond the farmhouse itself. The estate boasts a swimming pool, sauna, games room, and sports field, offering endless entertainment options – regardless of the weather! Additionally, a network of footpaths weaves through the estate, perfect for exploring the glorious countryside and checking out our conservation efforts up close. Our team can guide you on a nature walk or an exciting night safari to learn more about the local wildlife, making your stay even more enriching.
