One of the most popular beaches of the area, golden sand, 'Blue flag seaside award resort', easy access, shops, parking, easy access for disabled, lavatories, nature trails, safe swimming, water sports and refreshments.

Another popular sandy beach with fewer facilities and often quieter than Woolacombe.

Saunton Sands
Five miles of golden sands with the beautiful dunescape of Braunton Burrows (the largest sand dune system in the UK) in the background, recently designated as a UNSECO World Biosphere Reserve.

A top surfers' beach with board and equipment hire, all sand, excellent facilities complemented by the pretty thatched village of Croyde itself.
