A time of sadness and of celebration
Rejoicing in one who led our nation
Honour, faith and duty measured
Our greatest monarch to be treasured
Service long and service great
A loss too hard to calculate.
But on from her there comes another
Born of perhaps our greatest mother
He fills our hearts with hope and loyalty
Such being the continuity of royalty
Despite travails we will endure
Our lasting loyalty to him is sure.
God save the King
